Stainless Steel Threaded Rod Introduction

Threaded rods also called all thread, threaded bar, fully threaded rods or threaded stud, are relatively long rods that are fully threaded along the complete length of the rod. It is mostly used with stainless steel nuts, stainless steel flat washer, stainless steel spring lock washer, stainless steel anchor and stainless steel bolts. Made of 304 stainless steel, these rods are corrosive resistant and suitable for outdoor use. For saltwater marine applications or water or waste treatment plants, consider using 316 stainless steel.

Application of Stainless Steel Threaded Rod

If you need to join two pieces of wood or metal together, this form of steel can be threaded through both materials to create a solid connection. Screws and studs are some of the most common applications here.
